Greg Morrissey, Ph.D., RPCA
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Project Management, Archaeological Site Mitigation, Archaeological Education and Training, Lithics Analysis
Greg Morrissey is a professional member of the BCAPA, a Permit Holder for the Northwest Coast culture area, and an adjunct professor at SFU. As owner of Campfire, he has led diverse archaeological projects since 2015. He earned his Ph.D. in Archaeology from Monash University in 2018 and has worked in Canada, Australia, France, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea. Greg prioritizes strong working relationships and active participation of Indigenous groups in every archaeological project. Outside of work, Greg spends his time outdoors, camping, climbing, and adventuring with his wife and 3 kids.

Daniella Tsimbaliouk, M.Sc.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Project Management, Zooarchaeology Analysis, GIS Mapping Predictive Modeling Biomolecular Techniques.
Daniella Tsimbaliouk is an Associate Member of the BCAPA and a member of the Archaeological Institute of America. She brings ten years of experience in Greco-Roman archaeology in the Mediterranean in collaboration with UBC, Princeton University and Texas University, and over six years of BC Northwest Coast archaeology and First Nations collaboration to the team. Daniella holds a Master of Science in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh (2019). She is a Senior Project Manager and Field Director and specializes in zooarchaeology with an interest in biomolecular techniques.

Morgan Bartlett, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Project Management, Zooarchaeological Analysis, Osteological Analysis, Archaeological Education and Training, CMT ID and Survey
Morgan Bartlett is an Associate Member with the BCAPA and brings fifteen years of experience as a Senior Archaeologist, Project Manager, and Coastal Field Director. Morgan graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Artists in Archaeology in 2010. Morgan has worked on a wide range of remote and urban projects and is interested in zooarchaeological and osteological analysis. Morgan’s favourite thing to do is tube the Puntledge River on a hot, sunny day.

Jordan Eng, B.A
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Project Management, Heritage Permitting, Artifact Analysis
Jordan Eng is a consulting archaeologist who brings over fifteen years of CRM experience to the team. In 2008, Jordan graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology. Jordan is a qualified Field Director and Permit Holder and is able to hold permits for both the Northwest Coast and Interior culture areas of BC.

Jasmine Liesch, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Project Management, Archaeological Survey and Excavation for forestry, pipeline, transportation, municipal, and residential developments.
Jasmine Liesch, an Associate Member of the BCAPA, brings ten years of cultural resource management to the team. She earned a Bachelor of Art in Archaeology and Cultural Resource Management Certificate from Simon Fraser University in 2013. Jasmine is a project manager with extensive experience conducting faunal analysis for coastal and arctic sites. Jasmine has done monitoring for forestry, pipeline, transportation, municipal, and residential developments. Jasmine once spent two and a half weeks sorting zooplankton aboard an arctic research vessel.

Alex Pelletier, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Spatial Information Systems, Archaeological Permitting, Archaeological Site Forms, and Archaeological Training and Education
Alex Pelletier has ten years of experience as an archaeologist in the Northwest Culture area. In 2014, Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Humanities from Simon Fraser University. Alex has ten years specializing in quality assurance and control for Archaeology Branch deliverables, specializing in site forms and five years training new archaeologists on CRM in BC. He is interested in archaeological policies and processes. Alex is our moral booster and always down to clown.

Kierstin Dolata, M.A.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Project Management, Communications and Coordination, Archaeological Research, Education, and Training
Kierstin Dolata brings four years of archaeology and eight years of teaching to the team. She earned a Master in Archaeology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2013. She currently serves as a project manager and referrals coordinator, collaborating with First Nations and municipal staff for successful archaeological project completion. Kierstin is interested in cognitive archaeology and symbology and has worked on wet sites and basketry excavations. She lived in Lisbon for six years, where her archaeology career began, and she met her husband.

Kali Sielsky, M.A.
Areas of Expertise: Project Management, Archaeological Assessments, Site Mitigation, Lab Analysis, and rock art analysis and recording
Kali Sielsky has over eight years of experience in the Northwest Coast and Interior regions of BC, leading academic and cultural resource management projects. In 2024, she earned a Master of Arts in Archaeology from the University of Saskatchewan. Kali is a project manager with experience in Northwest Coast site types, archaeological research, education, rock-art, pictographs, and petroglyphs. When she’s not in the field, you can find her beachcombing with her pup, Oliver, searching for shells, rocks, and sea glass.

Jenna Kolotyluk, M.Sc.
Areas of Expertise: Project Management, GIS Mapping, Bio-molecular Archaeology, Archaeobotanical research, Lithics, Shell Midden, and Petroform analysis
Jenna Kolotyluk is an Associate Member with the BCAPA and brings nine years of experience to the team. She earned a Master of Science in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh in 2019 and worked on commercial archaeological projects in the UK before transitioning to CRM in Canada. Jenna is a Northwest Coast Field Director who specializes in Bio-molecular Archaeology, genetics' impact on cultural biodiversity, and Archaeobotanical studies, particularly the origins of agriculture. Fun fact: She can do a handstand!

Michael Kennedy, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Assessments, Fieldwork, and Lithics Analysis
Michael Kennedy is a member of the BCAPA and the ASBC. He is a Northwest Coast Field Director and brings five years of experience to the team. Michael has a background in computer information systems and graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He is interested in BC Toolstone Geography, Debitage Identification Models, Municipal Construction History and Standards, and GIS. Michael loves to run and has completed over 20 half marathons!

Sam Birchall, M.Res.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Excavation & Recording, Site Formation Processes, Mapping, Surveying, and GIS
Sam Birchall has been working as an archaeologist in cultural resource management since 2017, following his graduation with a Master of Research in Archaeology from Bangor University. With eight years of experience leading commercial archaeological projects across the UK, British Columbia, Oman, and Egypt, Sam has developed a diverse skill set in the field. Currently, he is particularly interested in the application of GNSS equipment on archaeological sites. Outside of work, Sam enjoys camping and film photography.

Hannah Parent, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Field Archaeology, Lab Work, Reporting
Hannah Parent is a Student Member with the BCAPA and has been working in cultural resource management since 2018. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from Simon Fraser University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Anthropology. Hannah has a wide range of experience both in the lab and in the field, working on projects on the South Coast, the Southern Interior, and the Northeast. Fun fact: Hannah loves slugs!

Angela Faria, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Field Archaeology and Lab Analysis
Angela Faria joined the team as a Junior Archaeologist in 2025. She graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and a minor in Criminology. With over a year of CRM experience at various sites across BC, including the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast, Angela is skilled in both field archaeology and lab analysis. She also completed a bioarchaeology field school in Portugal.

Harpreet Chohan, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Field Archaeology and Lab Analysis
Harpreet Chohan has been working as an archaeologist for four years. She graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology and a Certificate in Biological Anthropology. Harpreet specializes in biological anthropology. She is skilled in field archaeology, lab analysis, archaeological reporting and giving Chance Find Management Plan presentations. Fun fact: She can recite the entire alphabet backwards in 6 seconds!

Kate McKinney, B.A.

Kate McKinney brings 8 years of commercial archaeological experience in Ireland, the UK, and BC. She graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology. Kate joined the team in fall 2024 after serving as an Archaeological License Holder and Site Director in Northern Ireland, applying her skills in a new setting. Her favorite quote (especially during tough fieldwork weather): "You're not made of sugar, you won't melt" – Granny.

Gemma Rance, B.A.
Areas of Expertise: Archaeological Field Methods and Tools, Site Formation and Landscape Modification.
Gemma Rance is an associate member of the BCAPA. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with her Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and certificate in CRM in 2024 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Archaeology. Much of the work Gemma has conducted has focused on coastal archaeology, including academic and consulting work on the Locarno Beach site. Fun fact: Gemma owns a vintage printing of every Nancy Drew book, including the cookbook.

Raquel Jean, B.Des.
Areas of Expertise: Executive and Team Support, Marketing, and Branding
Raquel Jean is the team’s executive assistant, specializing in marketing and branding. In 2023, she graduated from MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Design. Raquel joined the team in Fall 2024 after relocating from Alberta to BC. Raquel supports the team in various ways, from travel accommodations to document branding and everything in between. Outside of work, Raquel enjoys painting and hanging out with her two cats.
